FTIR spectroscopy is a cost-effective and reliable analysis method that can be used from product identification and synthesis monitoring at the R&D stage to product verification in product quality control. With this method of analysis, it is possible to carry out quantitative analysis of product ingredients, as well as the detection of impurities in products.
As Evoco Polymer, we perform many analyses ranging from structure analysis of chemicals to identification of macrostructures with our experience in the characterization of materials.
Device : Bruker ALPHA-FT-IR Spectrometer- ATR module
Tensile, compression, bending and tear strength values of polymer materials are measured considering national and international standards with the mechanical tester located in our company.
Device : Shimadzu AGS-X 10kN
The gas pycnometer used in the analysis of volume and actual density of solid and powder samples is also used to determine the open-closed cell amount in polyurethane foams. In addition to the actual density analysis with the gas pycnometer device located in the Evoco Polymer Lab, the determination of the amount of open-closed cells using Foampyc software is carried out taking into account national and international standards.
Device : Micromeritics ACCUPYC II 1345
An advantage is provided in product development, quality control and product processability studies by studying the viscoelastic behavior of polymer and thermoplastic materials. Determination of product properties such as viscosity, gelling point, curing temperature and time in coating or thermosetting materials with a rheometer device provides an advantage in new product development and processability studies. We analyse the rheological properties of polymer and thermoset materials with the DMA module hybrid rheometer located in our Evoco Polymer laboratory.
Device : TA Instruments Discovery Hybrid Reometre DHR-2 model - Gradual disposable Peltier plate (0 C and 200 C) - DHR Environmental test chamber (RT to 600 C) - DHR 3-point Bending Clamp - DHR Film / Fiber Tension
Acid, base, hydroxyl number (OH), isocyanate number (NCO) are determined in the appropriate solvent medium of solid, liquid or powder samples with the titrator located in the Evoco Polymer laboratory. By creating new methods, it is possible to perform the desired titration process specific to the customer. The amount of % water contained in liquids is determined by the Karl-Fischer titration method with the titrator located in Evoco laboratory.
Device : Metrohm 907 TITRANDO
The hardness properties of polymers such as rubber, elastomer, resin, polyurethane and materials developed using these polymers are determined as Shore A and Shore D with our hardness tester located in our laboratory.
Device : Bareiss Hardness tester HPE II
The viscosity of a product provides the determination of the properties of the components during the research and development phase, the shelf life, the miscibility of the products, and the transfer conditions of the product. It is also an important parameter measured in intermediate and final product quality control processes.
Viscosity tests of liquids are carried out in the Evoco Polymer laboratory.
Device : Brookfield DV2TRV
It is important to measure the ability of polyurethane foams to maintain their size against external factors such as temperature and humidity in order to determine the long-term durability of the material. Evoco Polymer conducts dimensional stability tests of polyurethane foams for the desired humidity and temperature environment using internal methods created taking into account national and international standards.
