Resins are used as coating materials in automotive-transportation, aerospace-aviation, building-construction and many other sectors with the superior properties they add to the final product. The most commonly used types of resins are polyester, polyurethane and epoxy resins.

• Polyester resins, with their affordable price advantages, are widely used in the field of paint production, coatings and composites.
• Epoxy resins are preferred in the production of coating, adhesive and composite materials in industries such as automotive, construction, aerospace and aviation, with their high adhesion capabilities, high chemical resistance, abrasion and moisture resistance.
• Polyurethane resins have better mechanical strength, high adhesion ability, fast molding and low deformation characteristics than conventional resins. Polyurethane resins are preferred in the production of composites with their outstanding properties such as varying the curing time and non-inclusion harmful chemicals (styrene, etc.).
