Polyester Polyols

Polyester polyols are polymers obtained by the reaction of polycondensation, which includes ester bond structures in its main skeleton. It is possible to synthesize polyester polyols with different reactivity and different functionality according to the field of end-use. Polyester polyols are preferred for the purpose of;

  • improvement of mechanical strength and dimensional stability of products in rigid polyurethane foam applications,
  • improvement of fireproof properties in rigid polyurethane foam applications,
  • improvement of mechanical strength and hardness properties in flexible polyurethane foam applications,
  • development of mechanical properties of elastomer such as tensile strength and tear resistance in polyurethane elastomers,
  • increasing wear resistance, chemical resistance and adhesion in the production of paints and coatings.

It is possible to synthesize biopolyester polyols with bio-based raw materials and to reuse the used polyesters by recycling them.

Evoco Polimer develops sustainable, innovative polyester polyols that meet customer expectations, end use and desired end product properties
